Hustle

Wow. That was GREAT. Dear and I just sat there the whole episode going 'something's wrong here, what's up, what is it?' and then WELL. That was SO GOOD.

Recap tomorrow.

Pay attention? Why?

So I sent an email yesterday saying ‘these are all the ABC meters we have on our database, the ones with ECS are in pink.’

I get an email back this morning saying ‘it looks like this list covers all the ABC service meters, not just the ones with ECS. Please confirm.’

No, don’t worry mate, I didn’t actually put anything important into that email, no need for you to read it *grinds teeth*. Prink.

Like I said before, Hustle was great. I just kind of sat there and was stunned. Ditto Dear. And we totally didn’t see the stuff coming. And the cons they worked on Eddie were pretty funny. Poor Eddie, he probably doesn’t make enough money to be treated like that…

What else? Oh, I didn’t mention Fingersmith the other day. I thought the last part was really good, Richard Rivers is Bloke From Hellboy (I’d failed to notice) and was still too young to play the part, and overall I thought it was a really good adaptation that didn’t lose too much of the book. Though given the size of Sarah Waters’ novels, you wonder why they keep going for three-hour adaptations instead of four.

And re: Hellboy, when is the three disc thingy out? And why didn’t I buy it in Germany? (answer: because then I would have bought it here as well).

Hm, I’ve just noticed that I’m a total hoarder at work. I’ve got this drawer near my desk and it’s got caramac kit-kats, 2 bottles of diet coke, a packet of crisps and occasionally a lemon. Obviously I’m planning for when we get locked in and I need to survive.
